Dena A. Kleeman

Dena A. Kleeman has practiced family law since her 1983 graduation from Stanford Law School, becoming a California Certified Family Law Specialist in 1994 and receiving specialized training as a divorce mediator in 1998. During the course of her career, Ms. Kleeman has handled complex divorce matters involving business valuation, divorce taxation, real property, and complex compensation, benefits, and intellectual property issues. Ms. Kleeman also prepares premarital agreements, to structure her clients’ financial arrangements during marriage and prevent divorce-related problems that might otherwise ensue. Ms. Kleeman also has an expertise in child custody.  After graduating from Wesleyan University in 1977, she went on to obtain her certification as a teacher for developmentally delayed children from Thalians Mental Health Center, Cedars Sinai Medical Center in 1978.  Ms. Kleeman brings this training to bear, along with her many years of family law experience,  in her representation of parents in divorce and paternity/maternity matters.

Ms. Kleeman serves as a judge pro tempore and family law settlement officer for the Los Angeles County Superior Court. She is a member of the ABA, the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar and the Beverly Hills Bar.
