Ruth S. Kremen is an expert family law attorney with a broad and distinguished background that includes public service as well as law. Her commitment to family issues has led her to volunteer for many years and in various capacities in the field of child care. She presently serves as a family law mediator with the Los Angeles Superior Court. She is a past President of the Child Care Resource Center of Los Angeles County.

Ms. Kremen received her B.A. from Amherst College in 1976. She then became a Coro Foundation Fellow in Public Affairs in Los Angeles, a position which culminated with an M.A. in Urban Studies from Occidental College. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center in 1982 and until 1983 clerked for the Honorable William Bryant, District of Columbia Federal District Court. Upon completing her clerkship, she was a litigation attorney in the large Boston firm of Nutter, McClennen & Fish. Returning to California, she practiced general civil litigation, business and family law with McGlashan & Sarrail in San Mateo.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 1991, Ms. Kremen has practiced family law exclusively in reflection of her thorough commitment to family interests. She is married with three children.
